I am really happy with the services I received! My problem was identified and fixed in time. My car is back to normal I will definitely come to Cottman’s for all my car repairs in the future.

We needed a new transmission and passenger side window in our truck, didn't want to put more money into it than it is worth, so took it to Cottman for a second opinion. They did an awesome job, we are very happy with their services. Will recommend them.

I will keep this simple. I had my car in for AC repair 7 or 8 times within 2 years. It is still not working. Never take your car there for ANYTHING. I will send a more detailed review after I calm down.

Dear Mr. Chairman, I wanted to commend Cottman Transmission, 5790 E. Virginia BLVD. Norfolk, a BBB accredited member. In September 2010, I had a transmission rebuilt at another local business based on the recommendation of my dealership. The service was poor and within a year I had returned with the same problem. It was fixed under warranty; however, the problem returned shortly. Because this vehicle was not a primary vehicle, I did not pursue having the issue fixed. This changed when my wife's vehicle was totaled and she required this vehicle as her primary transportation. Based on the poor results thus far from the original shop, I look for an alternative. I selected Cottman Transmission because they were a BBB member. The time and effort expended to identify the problem was significant. I was kept informed and advised of my options. The professionalism and expertise I received from this business reflects most positively on the BBB and its member's. Not only to I admire their perseverance in finding the problem but also their overall superb customer service. This is the second time I have selected a business based on the BBB accreditation after an unsatisfactory experience with a non-BBB business. Cottman Transmission has sold me on the value of using a BBB accredited business the first time.
