Zack and Adam built a new sloping roof on a wooden backyard shed. They were both very friendly and helpful, and completed the work quickly within the estimated amount. Later, Paul and Zack returned and built a wooden pergola extending from the shed over a brick area. All three took the time to discuss options for building materials, and were very helpful, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend this company!

Zack from ACE Handyman Albuquerque North installed a new rain gutter and downspout, replaced damaged outside paneling, and flooring on a cabinet, made helpful suggestions, and was extremely friendly and professional. The new paneling is a perfect match. The work was completed quickly, for a very reasonable price.

Zack worked hard, smart and efficiently. We accomplished a lot in my reserved time. I highly recommend both Zack and the Ace Hanyman services in ABQ, NM I will use them again and will definitely request Zack.

VIX Construction was hired to do work with third party. The workmanship was extremely poor screws sticking out, poor painting with roller marks and uneven color application, plywood not properly sanded or level. Violated contract and went around third party to client directly. Neglected to return calls or emails after numerous attempts. Very unprofessional and will never use again or recommend to anyone in the area.

Our community association recently hired this company to repair a broken post for a small lending library. The contractor showed up for repair and then left saying he needed to get parts and would return. He did not return for almost a week. He then fixed the broken library and made it two feet shorter than its original height. It was a simple repair that would take any handyman about 2 hours. Handyman Services proceeded to bill the community just under $1000. For a small post repair and poor quality of work?! They did not even replace the post. When I reached out to the owner Victor Ulibarri to discuss the charges and the poor quality of the work he stated, "The best I can do for you is not charge you a late fee and not file a lien on the property." Really?! If you are looking for poor quality work and high prices than this is the company for you. My recommendation would be to keep looking....

Recently we had a small drywall patch executed at our home. At first, this was a one day project, that quickly turned into a two visit project. Of course, we had our concerns about the " per hour " charges, and about the unfinished quality of work the first day. We were pleased on the 2nd day the technician doing the work decided he could " do a better job " and worked longer to raise the quality of the final work. In the end, the work installed is acceptable and completed for a Fair price. I would use Ace again, mostly because the actually tried to do better rather than walking away and charging more. We appreciate that.

This was for a small drywall area 3’-0” x 3’-0” ceiling texture and paint Jury is out as the 3-4 hour job turned into two days ……the patch size did not change…….after first day tape is still visible and texture doesn’t seem to match …………but they have another visit to finish it right and get the quality in line I will make further comments and will give credit where credit is do - still like the ace service let’s see if they come through with what the promised
