I booked an appointment thinking I had two electrical problems. Vibert came on time for appointment and even apologized for being late(minutes). One problem had already resolved before he came. He checked what I thought was a bad socket. After checking he did not find a problem and the light seemed to be working. I had been quoted a price which was for 2 hours work. He contacted the office and they very generously gave me a much reduced price. This is a company that I will definitely call the next time I need a handyman. They could have required me to pay the quoted price. I was treated more than fair and so appreciate the way I was treated. Vibert was very professional and kind. He made sure that I had information for future services. Thank you to Vibert and Ace Handyman for great customer service.

Vibert did a great job with the work he completed. He did an especially good job laying the new vinyl flooring in the kitchen and office, and installing the new light fixture in the bathroom. He was professional and worked hard to get the projects completed. There were originally two handymen working on the job. After the kitchen and office vinyl flooring were completed, the other handyman left, leaving Vibert to finish the remaining projects by himself. He completed approximately half of the bathroom flooring, repaired one board in the master bedroom, removed the old bathroom light fixture, and installed the new one. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication regarding the bathroom flooring. There were several damaged vinyl planks in the bathroom that needed to be replaced. I was under the impression that the damaged planks would be replaced using the extra planks I already had that matched the original bathroom flooring. Instead, new planks from the kitchen and office flooring were used. As a result, the bathroom now has two different colors/styles of vinyl flooring—half the original flooring and half the new flooring. I am disappointed with this result and would have much preferred for the bathroom flooring to be one consistent type. I also purchased all of the materials needed for the job, including Liquid Nails, one gallon of Drylok ($44.96), and dark brown caulk ($13.03). There were materials left over after the work was completed, but they were not left at my home. I personally saw Vibert carry the remaining Drylok out with him. Since I purchased these materials, I expected any unused product to be left for me. Overall, I appreciate the work Vibert did and the effort he put into completing the job after the other handyman left. However, the misunderstanding about the bathroom flooring and the removal of the leftover materials were disappointing. I believe clearer communication about exactly which flooring was to be used in the bathroom would have prevented the issue.
