I have never written a bad review on a company no matter how bad I think they are but this company has no respect for clients. I have had appointments scheduled and they don't show up. Or they show up and tell me they will get back to me with a quote and don't. They don't return calls. The owner of this company Barry Frizzell must not care much about his business because of the lack of respect he has shown me over the last three months has proven it over and over. The tips for writing a review on a company are 1. Be Specific 2. Be Truthful 3. Be Polite-give feedback in a constructive way. I feel I have been all of these and for feedback, I suggest that if you don't want the business just tell the customer. Let them find someone else. Do not lead them on that you are going to do the work. I can't submit this review without selecting a star for the rating. I would have selected none if it allowed me to.

We met Barry at the Chattanooga Home Show and discussed remodeling needs. Steven May came to give an estimate for the original scope of work. In talking we learned that Handyman Matters could handle several additional things we were wanted done. In other words, the scope of activities increased significantly. One of the projects was the removal of "popcorn" ceiling in our kitchen, which we knew would be messy but the final product turned out very nice. But even with all of the precautions Handyman Matters staff took to seal off the kitchen this dust moves out of the work area, so be prepared. The bathroom remodel was also very well done. Bob, Josh, and Steven were extremely professional and highly skilled. The projects took longer than we had anticipated but as with most remodeling projects it usually takes longer especially when working in an older home where one never knows what lies behind dry wall or under "popcorn" ceilings. Being able to problem solve these unknowns speaks of the knowledge and skills of Steven, Bob and Josh.

Found Barry thru a friend as we were needing some minor contracting work done that either we couldn’t get a quote on or the price was too high. Handyman Matters took care of us on the price and on the job. Clay always let me know where he was on our project, worked hard, and was here when he said he would be. Couldn’t ask for more! Will be keeping these guys on my speed dial!

I have know Barry and Handyman Matters for almost a year now. He is a part of our professional business group here in Chattanooga. Barry does what he says at the price he quotes.
