Professional, high quality work
David was very thorough in curtain rod installation. It was an unusual type of rod, one he had never been trained on, but it turned out very well. Service
was friendly and this employee is a perfectionist at his job.

Good work, final bill way over estimate.
They started within an hour of the predicted time, finished in 2 days as scheduled. Work was good. Labor came in about 20% over estimate, materials were nearly 100% over estimate, with no discussion until it was time to pay. IMO estimates should be what you pay unless there was a change to the scope of work or some major unforeseen complications, neither of which applied here.

Excellent work, very knowledgeable professional
We used Handyman Matters to replace all of our smoke detectors, unclog a sink, and drain the hot water heater. Our service person completed the work quickly, and had many helpful tips for avoiding issues in the future. We have used this company since moving to the DFW area, and they always do great work. Scheduling is easy and the service people are always prompt and knowledgeable.

He did call when he was going to be late, and arrived 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
$150 for the first hour seems excessive.

Very disappointed on many levels. Will not use again or recommend.
Needed repairs done on a rental property.
I gave very specific instructions on the nature and scope of the repairs.
I record all business conversations.
After the work was done and I received the invoice, there were several issues so I reviewed the initial call to schedule the service.
I confirmed that my instructions were quite clear.
I generated a call to the Handyman office and spoke with Tim.
I asked for photos of the "completed" work and also asked him to submit a corrected invoice.
Within a few minutes I received a new invoice with photos attached.
After seeing the photos, I understand why they were not attached in the first email.
Even Tim mentioned they were dark. Understatement.
One of the repairs was not done. The remedy that was explained to me over the phone was "overkill" and could have easily been fixed with a 1" X 2" piece of pine trim.....instead of removing a door.
The invoice.
Version 1 of the invoice said there were 4 cabinets repaired at a cost of $400.
I advised Tim that there were only 3 cabinets that were repaired and requested a correction.
Version 2 of the invoice now shows the repair "a kitchen cabinet and three bathroom cabinets". Wrong. But at least the price was corrected to $300.
But, the $100 charge is now added to plumbing repairs.
One way or another....Tim was going to get his $100.
I called and spoke to Tim again.
I gave him several chances to fix this.
He chose not to.
Now. I have to go finish repairs. And take decent photos of repairs for the new buyer.
Very disappointed with the entire experience.
