We hired a handyman through Ace to pull down a damaged ceiling, put in framing to hold new drywall, put up the drywall ceiling, prime and paint. The handyman arrived at hours convenient to him without letting us know. A 3-day job became 5 working days over 8 business days. His shifting schedule made it hard for us to coordinate with an electrician and hard on our tenant, who had a semi-accessible bathroom for too long. The handyman cleaned up the old ceiling beautifully, but left joint compound spattered on the floor when working on the new ceiling. Bob, the supervisor, was attentive to our frustration and appropriately reduced the price when we did priming and painting ourselves. At that point we wanted to give our tenant a calm apartment quickly.

I have to say for a cold call to replace a ceiling pull down ladder at my Mother-in-Laws home I was very pleasantly surprised. Tom explained his process, measured, purchased the proper item, removed the old, installed the new and cleaned up. He was friendly and very professional. I will be calling them again

TJ did an awesome job assembling my new fire pit. I bought it for my wife for Christmas and it came unassembled. I was out of my element. I called Ace and TJ came the next day. Super fast work, and a very nice guy. Would highly recommend.

We called to schedule Tom for a very specific carpentry job (remove the inner jamb on a split jamb door). In short, he quickly made an alternative recommendation that would save us the hassle of taking the entire frame off.
