Our project with Ace began with Dave promptly returning my phone call requesting a quote to repair the devastation caused by a storm-driven uprooted 108 ft tree landing on a 14-step section of our dock stairs, the 12 x 12 deck the stairs led to, and our irrigation pump and connection. Dave came the same day and within to assess the damage. In a few short days, Dave and his team of craftsmen gave us a detailed quote to restore the stairs, the deck, the irrigation systems and electrical service to the irrigation system and boat lift. The quote was very detailed, reasonably priced and easily passed the insurance adjuster’s review. The work began a few days later. We were somewhat surprised when we received a 7:30 AM text saying the crew was on their way. That was an extra level of customer service we were not expecting, but came to enjoy knowing in advance who was coming each day and when. James was our lead craftsmen who did a remarkable job of on-site engineering on a challenging steep lot to retrofit a new stairs/deck structure connecting 2 existing structures. James also made several aesthetic-improving recommendations that he was able to perform at no additional cost to the project. James also put on his plumber’s hat and installed and connected our replacement irrigation pump. Adding to the carpentry expertise was Tim who did excellent work as well. A couple hard working assistants name Josh and Pacey kept the project moving along nicely. The electrician, Brian, that Dave brought in did all the electric repairs in a single day including deck lighting, outlets and power supply to the boat dock. Finally, Dave sent out Karl to design and build a clever hinged-door pumphouse to enclose our new 2 HP pump. Ace was not required to do this, in fact it was Dave’s idea which just goes to show commitment to do a complete job. In summary, doing business with Ace an enjoyable experience. They excel in workmanship, communication, extra efforts, all adding up to extreme value.

He went above and beyond to educate me on how to prevent this issue from happening again! He outlined what needed repaired and why so that we didn’t make the job bigger than it needed to be. When I first started out with this company everything was good. I didn't like not being told about the extra cost after starting the job, then being told that I had to pay the new cost or he would put a lean on my house! I stopped the job before it was finished & paid my bill in full. The owner of this company in my opinion is rude & believes he can make the job price go up by not telling you everything before the job starts. I had to find another company to finish the work which I did.

James and Ryan were both fantastic! They were personable, talented, and efficient, offering suggestions to make this the best possible experience. I will definitely call again when I need help.

From calling to make the appointment to the entire appointment itself I could not be happier with our experience. Our handyman was friendly and helpful, got here early and kept us updated on the process the entire time. These guys will be my go-to for any handyman needs!
