friendly, polite, and efficient
Darrel did an exceptional job with a minor plumbing issue at our home. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. The job was done in a timely manner and the pricing was fair. I would recommend using Ace Handyman Services for any small project in your home.

Excellent and Expedient
Ron was over to diagnose problem with an automatic door opener/ closer that wasn't closing properly. Made an appointment for the next day for the repair, and boom it was fixed! Excellent service and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

He was here earlier than expected since he was at another job in the neighborhood. He had called to ask if it was okay if he came early, and I responded sure. He introduced himself and went to work When finished he told me the price, I wrote a check, he said that I would receive a receipt and I did. I would certainly consider calling ace Handyman service for my next project.

Professional service
Ace Handyman Services sent Scott to deal with my repairs. Scott was very efficient very professional and very personable. In the hour that he spent at the house he fixed three issues, reattached the vent on my roof stack, took out a sliding screen door that has been stuck for years, and he repaired the sliding action on the window. I was very pleased. I recommend the service highly.

The invoiced amount was significantly larger than we anticipated. When I queried this I was told that Ace Hardware applies a 40% markup to any supplies that they go and pick up. This maybe in the fine print (not sure), but I feel that Jen (customer service/salesperson) could have been more upfront when we discussing this ahead of the handyman’s visit. The travel and purchase time is included in the 4 hours that you pay for, but then to add a 40% markup to the materials as well seems disingenuous. Ahead of the appointment the customer service/salesperson was extremely nice, but after the project when I offered this feedback she was defensive. Customer feedback delivered politely is a gift! Scott (handyman) did a satisfactory job, but we feel that he could have been more productive within the allotted time. I would not recommend Ace Hardware Handyman services to others. I think there are better options out there.

Great service, knowledgeable, responsive
This was my first time using Ace Handyman services and it won’t be my last. Jen, Ron and Scott were all great to deal with. It was a great experience from start to finish. They were very easy to communicate with, did what I needed and to my specifications, and advised me when needed. They were also very professional, courteous and left the areas clean when done.
