Kipp arrived on time, was polite, professional and friendly. He was careful and detail oriented, did a great job on our assembly project, staying to the estimated time and also provided estimates for future projects we are planning. Would definitely hire him again and recommend Handyman Matters.

We had Matt install a ceiling fan in our upstairs loft/office. The new fan was slightly larger in diameter than the old one, but on an angled, vaulted ceiling, the space was tight and the down rod turned out to be much shorter than the old one (4.5 vs. 11 inches). Matt made all the measurements, carefully looked at the housing and other enclosed materials, and was very honest about his concerns with the fan blades clearing the ceiling. He thought we'd have about 2 inches to spare, and after he finished (in less time than predicted), sure enough, we had about 1.5 inches to spare. The fan was perfectly balanced, and he took the time to help me dispose of the old fan and demonstrate the remote. He was on time, checked in with me about his arrival, and very polite. It turned out that the housing for the new fan, was smaller in diameter than the old fan, so there was going to be a gap between the ceiling and the housing. He told me what part would solve the problem, looked it up for me on the Home Depot website, and together we decided that I would run out 10 minutes away to get the part, while he assembled the actual fan. I returned just as he finished with the fan, and soon it was up and we were done. I like how he worked with me to find a solution that neither of us had anticipated, and although I had to make a trip to HD, I saved money and and time.

I was happy with my service. The handyman kept adjusting and working at the project until every little issue was resolved.

Had a new sink put in our bar downstairs and Kip had to do some repair on the walls and of course they look great, thanx Kip. He has fixed other walls in our house and you can't tell there was ever a problem.
