My historic home has some challenges - one being soft brick exterior walls that are impossible to anchor anything to. After months of trying to solve the Great Curtain Rod Crisis of 2020, I called Ace, who sent Lee. He was swift, creative, and very transparent about the tools and products he was using to solve the issue. Ace's current pricing model is a flat $65 for the call, plus an hourly rate. The quality was so good that I feel like it was money well spent, but I would note that it makes more sense if you have a small list of projects, rather than a quick task.

We have a step-in tub and it accidently did not get the door locked properly and got a lot of water on the bathroom tile floor. The grout was cracked and the tiles loose and 4 tiles were actually broken. We could not exactly replace the tiles as the ones we had put in a few years ago were no longer in existence, so we purchased the closet we could find, but they were truly not a match or even a good blend. John from Ace Handyman Services came and repaired our floor. He took all the broken grout out, got the tiles set again and no longer loose in the least, removed the broken tiles, used the off, odd tiles we had had to purchase in a way that looked just fine and very nice. We are quite impressed with Ace Handyman Services and highly recommend them, but we are even more impressed with John, he did an excellent job and in a short amount of time.
