Sometimes 5 stars just aren't enough. I have this company on speed dial. EVERYONE from the owners, the handymen and ladies that answer the phone are all extremely professional, nice and a joy to interact with! This company absolutely cares about their customers by not wasting their time. You call, the phone is answered, they ask about your project and schedule you, then CONFIRM IT WITH EMAIL OR PHONE CALL and...most importantly...they actually show up! Don't you love when people don't waste your time? We are preparing to sell our home and don't know what we would have done without James and Gerald. They have taken care of everything on our To Do list: Hanging window blinds and curtain rods, fixing our glass shower door, including the towel bar and handle, unsticking doorknobs, making sure interior doors are catching in latch, caulking, patching, replacing doorbell, correcting some of my attempted home repairs, so many things. Get your list together and any supplies needed for your project and call them! I just buy a few varieties or extra of what might be needed for projects and return what we don't use. They have some misc. basic items with them, but you will have to pay for their time if they have to go get additional supplies. They will also do estimates for some bigger projects and help you with your shopping list. My husband is a tough customer, and he is very impressed with this company! He wants to schedule James every 6 months to do regular maintenance on our next home. Bonus: our 121 lb. Dog LOVES James and Gerald. Dog thoroughly inspected their work while they were completing it and approves. Thanks guys for all of your work and being so patient with us and our fuzzy dogchild!

James was a few minutes early. Moved our electric dryer into a very tight space. Charming and engaging young man. He then put back a three cabinet unit in our kitchen over our refrigerator. It had to be removed due to the height of the refrigerator a few days prior. He raised the entire cabinet unit to the appropriate height and did an exceptional job of installing it back on to the wall studs. I normally don’t write reviews. This company deserves all the praise a person can give. Thank you for a job well done!

This is the second time I have used this firm and both engagements were scheduled quickly, the craftsmen showed up on time well equipped with the right tools, and the work was completed in a professional manner at a fair price. This is a great way to work off that "punch list" of small to mid-sized home repairs that you never seem to be able to or want to do yourself. The jobs they completed for me included cedar siding and trim replacement (second story), gutter rehanging (second story), mantle installation on a stone fireplace, and new electrical outlet in basement workshop.

We had a crack in the Door frame making the door venerable for unauthorized entry. Handyman recommended a steel KICK PLATE be installed to re-secure the door. This was a simple and yet secure solution to the problem. James was great in presenting the options available, describing the work as he was doing it and cleaned up before he left. I can not get my kids to do that!

We had an excellent experience scheduling grout replacement for our bathroom through Handyman Matters. Gene arrived right on time, was thorough, prompt and informative. His replacement is tidy, clean and beautiful. We will certainly call again!
