Ray called me the night before to review my list of projects. He called again the morning to give me an idea of his anticipated ETA. I just moved into my house and not all things are where they belong; he was patient while I hunted down the correct hardware for my TV wall-mount. Ray was thorough, courteous, and extremely professional. He checked in with me frequently about the time that had elapsed and ensured that I understood how they charge for their time. I will absolutely use their services again and plan to recommend Handyman Matters to friends and family.

Really had a great experience with Handyman Matters tech Raymond. Very personable, pays attention to detail, and works hard the entire time he is at the job! The job consisted of cleaning up area to prepare for replacing 2 pieces of sheetrock, base boards, texture walls, caulk, re-glue a couple of tub trim tiles & grout,& paint. It took 2 four hour days & the only thing not able to complete was painting. At that point, since they charge by the hour, I told Ray I would paint. I am very satisfied with Rays work! They supplied sheetrock & baseboards AT A PERCENTAGE ABOVE COST of materials, which I had to agree to since it was raining & I have short bed truck! This bothered me. Cost of job $804.00. This was my 1st experience with a by the hour company. Workmanship awesome, but I would have to think hard about time frame for job to use this form of service again. I am used to bids!

Anthony did great work on installing my electronic dog door on an existing patio door. Job was done in an appropriate amount of time and works as intended. He measured and mounted it based on my dog’s heights.

Ray cleared out our dryer exhaust. He was on time, friendly, and informative. We will definitely be using this company again!

Anthony listened to my description of the problem of structural support for my balcony. He understood the problem and did the needed assessment to define a solution. He translated that understanding into a bid for the manpower needed to do the job and thus the cost. He understands that repairs are time critical since there is a possible safety concern. He will organize the team to do the work and get it done. I would recommend him for getting a plan defined and providing estimates. I'll reserve final recommendation until the work is done within the cost estimate.

Russell was very professional and did a great job repairing grout and caulking in the bathrooms and Sheetrock repair. He also fixed a ceiling fan and bathroom door for me. I’m very pleased.
