Hiring Handyman Matters (Kelly) was the best decision I ever made! I had several bad experiences with contractors being unprofessional, doing substandard work and charging a fortune. Our slider door decided to throw a tantrum and not open a few days before our son's birthday party. I started calling window and door companies because I didn't know who else to call. On my third call the guy told me I should call a handyman and said these guys have good reviews. I couldn't agree more! A woman (I wish I remembered her name!) answered the phone right away and after hearing my dilemma made a call and got me on the schedule that week! Kelly came out and fixed the stubborn door. He is very polite and knows his stuff! He finished before the minimum time and asked if there was anything else he could do. We will always give Handyman Matters a call in the future!

This was my first time working with Handyman Matters. I had an issue with possible floor damage due to moisture under a toilet that had been removed. I was expecting to have to have the floor replaced. As it's a rental, I wanted to get someone in and out as quickly as possible so as to inconvenience the tenants as little as possible. My first pleasant surprise was when I called to arrange for an appointment. Someone actually answered the phone--no interminable recordings telling me that my call is important! Leslie arranged an appointment for several days later. When the day came, Kelly showed up right on time--actually, a few minutes early. We checked out the job and, after investigating above and below (in the crawl space), Kelly determined that the fix was much simpler than replacing the floor. He got that completed in a short period of time. As there is a four hour minimum charge, I came up with another project that I had been putting off--removing some tamper-proof hardware that had secured security bars on a rental. He went to work and that job was actually bigger than I thought. With the hardware removed and the mounting holes filled, he was packing up his truck just as the four-hour mark approached. One potential pitfall was that it was suggested that I have the materials (flooring and base molding) on site ready to be installed when Kelly arrived. I was a bit unsure about that and didn't want to purchase the materials if they weren't going to be used. I had decided that I would wait until Kelly arrived to determine what needed to be done. I was prepared to pick up the materials if necessary while the old floor was being torn up. As it turned out, that was a good decision as that did not need to be done. Making the initial appointment was a very efficient process. Kelly is professional and easy to work with. Handyman matters seems to have a nice balance in size--not too big to be impersonal but big enough to arrange for the job to be done in a reasonable time. Several of the one-man handyman services that I contacted were either too busy to be able to do the job in a timely manner (booked out weeks in advance) or I had to leave a message not knowing when I would hear back. Thanks to Leslie and Kelly for a job well done!

Nothing but superlatives for Handyman Matters. Kelly did an awesome job in my home, and based on other review here it sounds like Handyman Matters employs only high quality people. Not only was the work done quickly, quietly, cleanly, and gorgeously, the level of professionalism and communication in all matters surrounding the work was outstanding. I called on a Sunday with 3 days worth of repairs and the work was completed by Thursday that same week. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to call back the next time I need something.

Kam did a very good job fixing my glass sliders, he took his time making sure the doors were working properly. Kory is looking into getting me a discount on replacement sliders. Would definately recommend these folks.

Had a couple of windows and screens put in order. Plus cleaning and lubricating tracks for a sliding glass door. Professional, friendly, was on time, got the job done.
