We bought this 33 year old house in Redondo Beach which had an old redwood fence. Several of the boards were warped, One gate was hanging on one hinge which eventually broke free. Breyden removed the defective boards and replaced them with new redwood ones. He replaced the door with new hinges. It now opens and closes easily. He then re-stained the whole fence which made it look as good as new. We were very pleased with his work and would recommend him highly.

I left a one star review a month ago. At no charge, Scott came over and installed the fixtures that his employee did not. We also realized that a fixture in which a screw was broken, was probably an inferior product and we will seek a refund from that vendor. I change my review to 4-star to reflect my satisfaction with the final work and the effort Scott made to make things right.

I had used Scott Weller and his team for a project to replace cabinet doors at our prior house--Scott did a terrific job. We moved to a new home and needed to change 20 fixtures. We indicated that some of the fixtures needed two team members and had a lot of work. "Marcus" showed up alone at 11am, changed 3 fixtures, broke a screw inside one, left and our bill was $800. The lighting vendor would not replace the fixture with the broken screw because it was not a problem with the product--the screw is broken below the level of the lighting surface. Ace claimed the screw was broken out of the box, despite it is something that needs to be assembled, and refused to take responsibility. I would recommend you stay away from Ace. If you do use Ace, then do not move forward without an estimate to complete the work. Including replacing the fixture, I paid $1,100 to replace 3 lights.

Bryan repaired and painted our exterior stucco walls, exceeding our expectations as the texture and paint match is perfect--repair work goes unnoticed. He also was asked to paint a small platform which he textured first and then painted, making it better than before. He rebuilt a FIOS--fiber optics cover, creatively reconstructing the outside cover, priming, and painting. He took the time in our home and treated it as his home when replacing the batteries in our smoke alarms. Highly recommend Bryan with Ace Handyman Services as he is a perfectionist, clean, and intelligent and is truly appreciated as his qualities are difficult to find in this "good enough" world in which we live. Lastly, Diane is an excellent coordinator and does an outstanding job juggling the various services--not an easy task to estimate handyman work. Would I hire them again? Absolutely and without hesitation.

I have used ace several times and would highly recommend them. They do good work and they respond promptly. They helped me fix issues that Home Depot floor installers messed up.

I could not be more pleased with Ace Handyman Services. I just bought a house that needed a laundry list of services done, and I had only 2 days to find a handyman before a major project began that would block access to the home. I called Ace, they rearranged their schedule to fit my pojects in, sent Santiago out the next day and he completed a list of 10 completely different items in 8 hours. I am so happy it all worked out. Marcus the handyman that came out to do are serve on our dry vent was awesome. Very professional and a nice guy. Also Diane in the office was very help. Will use the service again!!

I can’t speak highly enough about Scott and his crew! I have used them on two different occasions, once for some work on our elevator light at the office and personally at my home. I had them re-caulk my bathtub, and then they ran into some issues with a bad pipe. I was fortunate enough that Scott had a plumber that could come out and fix it that day. I will be calling them again soon to have some drywall done. I highly recommend them!
