We hate to complain because David was a nice person who seemed confident in his ability to do a straightforward patio ceiling repair . The final result is a heavy textured area around where he taped and filled, in contrast to other parts of the ceiling that are mostly flat. The original ceiling was a flat finish that we expected to be restored. In our absence, our son who was overseeing the job noted a large divot in the ceiling that had not been filled to even out the area. David did patch that area but there is extra texture there that does not blend with the rest of the ceiling. All in all it looks very patchy, uneven and crudely done. This we thought was a relatively simple repair. In addition, when we spoke to another Ace Handyman who it turned out was not in our service area, quoted a charge of about six hours of repair and painting amounting to about six hundred dollars. Even with an additional fee for travel and supplies we feel we were overcharged by at least two hundred dollars. All said, we are not satisfied with the job and would appreciate somebody looking at this work. No, at this point we would not recommend Ace Handyman Service

Larry from Ace Handyman Services Tucson Mountain contacted me and arrived right on time for the appointment. He was courteous and went right to work. He completed the job and cleaned up before he left. He was efficient and respectful of my home. I would recommend this service.

First time use was extremely disappointing because the new hire they sent was totally inept. However when I complained, they responded immediately and sent their very best employee to correct the poor workmanship that the new hire had done. I understand that the new hire is no longer with Ace Handyman and in that case I can recommend them for handyman work.

Wayne was very nice and did a good job but I can’t see paying $110-/hr. while he shopped for materials (2 hrs)AND a markup on the materials as well.Seems like double dipping to me.Although they gave a $100- discount when questioned(appreciated)it left me bit cold,too say the least

I was very impressed with David, the handyman who came today. He arrived early, reviewed the scope of the project with me, and got right to work. When he finished my ceilings early, I gave him something else (unplanned) to do. He took that in stride, and did a fine job on all tasks. Throughout the day he was pleasant, polite, and good humored. I've been working with the Tucson (East) Ace Handyman Services for years, and confidently recommend them. Now that I've moved to Green Valley, I'm pleased that the Tucson Mountain operation has opened. I have already scheduled my next appointment!

We had our house entirely repiped, and then, the walls had to be restored (drywall) and painted. We had chosen good companies, yet, days and hours were wasted waiting for them to show up. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn’t, and we were just exhausted with that entire process, as it began August 26, and was finally completed November 1. Then, we decided to retile the bathroom floor, as it now looked so shabby with the freshly painted walls. I called Ace Handyman Services, and how refreshing! Larry came at the set time (not “window” time, but set hour), got to work right away, did a perfect (yes, perfect) job, and left us delighted with the results. Covered all the floor areas, he would be walking on, and cleaned up everything when he was finished. We are so happy with the work, and the customer service. From now on, we call them, as they are reliable, dependable, responsible and on time.

The owner quoted an 8 hour day to get everything done and 3 items were not finished by the end of the day. Was told that I would be receiving a phone call from the manager regarding this and so far that has not happened. Far too expensive as well. I was happy with the handyman that was sent but it was his his first day on the job. I was surprised that he spent 2 hours getting supplies he needed since I had everything but the stain. I could have picked that up while he was working to save time and money.

Chad did a great job fixing our door issues. Will use Chad again.
