Understood What Needed to Be Done
Mike arrived right on time and understood what needed to be done with rotted spots on the exterior of my windows as well as other small jobs I need to have done. I'm looking forward to working with you.

Ours was a relatively minor task of replacing several window panes broken by hail. Jason did an outstanding job, even the task of removing glass molding that was a few decades old! Windows look great and job site was properly cleaned up. I also must commend Ace Handyman on the promptness of their estimating & scheduling of the job. Will use again, and definitely recommend.

Service man wasn't qualified to do the job.
Except for the genuine niceness of technician, who made a failed attempt to install a ceiling fan for my rental, I am very dissatisfied with the company's business practices. The first person I dealt with over the telephone was unable to answer specific questions I posed to her about what extra parts I might need to buy for the fan installation, and wouldn't forward my questions to the technician for a response to me.
Then, after the technician, arrived to install the fan, he gave up because he discovered that he would have to first install a fan box in the ceiling. He said hat he was not qualified to do that and I needed to hire a real electrician. And despite this failure and wasted of my time, he charged me $40.00 for a "trip charge." I wish this company would have advised me that they might not be able to do the job and of the cost associated with a failed attempt to do the job. After that, I hired an a licensed electrician. He did a great job and even made installing that fan box look easy.
Response from Ace Handyman Services Twin Cities
Tom,
I am sorry we were unable to replace your light fixture with a new ceiling fan. As we discussed on the phone when making your appointment, if the proper wiring is in place for a ceiling fan and up to date we have no problem doing a swap but there are times where a fan install like this can surpass our craftsman's expertise and at that point we always refer to an electrician to ensure you get the best install possible even if it wasn't with us. I know in the past we have been able to do several successful fan installs for you and that is what we were basing this appointment off, I am sorry that ended up not being the case this time. I did send over your requests to the craftsman about materials I apologize if that wasn't correctly conveyed to you. I'm so glad you were able to get the fan install completed even if it wasn't through us! Please let me know if you have any further questions about the billing or appointment 952-946-0088.

Great service, great outcomes.
I had several outside maintenance jobs to be done before winter and the service person who came to do the work (Pete) was exceptional. This is my 2nd time with Ace and have my 3rd project planned already. They are the best. Great service, skilled service people at a great price.
