I hired GDM Construction & Design, Inc. to replace an old sunroom and replace with a Four Seasons Sunroom. Bottom line is I am loving the new sunroom. GDM has been very responsive to every request, from getting back to me from my online inquiry on the website, to visiting me within a few days, to providing me a quote. As we were demolishing the old sunroom, we knew there was likely concrete issues on one end (there was) and was there other potential issues we would uncover (luckily there were none) – but Mark walked me through the site throughout the project to highlight what was being done and answered all my questions. Through out the process, Mark provided me with a weekly “Wednesday” update so I would understand what would be happening throughout the project. He was also upfront about likely where the delay’s would be based on the different team’s skill sets needed. I am someone who wants a clear laid out plan of dates, etc. But as this is my first big home project, I went into this with a flexible attitude. Due to the level of communication I always knew what was happening and likely timing on the next task. Mark also provided me a great flooring recommendation (Murison’s Flooring America) and working with the team to leverage the flooring and my painter was very easy. In the few days it has been finished, I am spending all the time I can reading in the sun and my cats are enjoying the sun and getting up and close with squirrels that are visiting the bird feeder right outside the side doors.

are SO pleased with our new sunroom! Robert Shipstead of GDM construction was a pleasure to work with. He let us know every step of the way what was happening, did what he said he would do every time. We never had to chase him. All of his crew were professionals in their specialties, did great work, cleaned up after themselves and were so friendly and helpful. Robert always goes the extra mile, even replaced a screen door that my husband accidentally broke, at his own expense. The quality of the room is excellent and adds some much needed extra space to our home. The room is so bright, cheery and comfortable and flows seamlessly from our kitchen. Robert took care of all of the details from laying the flooring to hanging the blinds, curtain rods and the ceiling fan. The only thing we did was paint the walls that he had already textured between the house and the sunroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. And the cost was quite reasonable. We couldn’t be happier!

It was a smooth project replacing our sunroom with GDM Construction. Vincent is professional and so are the workers. From the beginning Vincent answered all our questions clearly. He explained the charges, and other optional and/or charges that may incur. Our sunroom project is fairly straight forward because it's a replacement. Still, it was done professionally. The demolition part was very quick and the cleanup was again professionally done. The workers knew what they were doing and the sunroom was built in a timely manner. I am most impressed that throughout the whole process, the site was kept clean and we did not experience inconveniences. Overall, I am satisfied with GDM Construction.

Our original patio was trellis cum greenhouse plastic cover, it needed replacement but we liked its wood structure, between the house wall and 3 pillars of Roman style. We needed Four Seasons style patio cover, with skylights and ceiling fan. GDM proposed and discussed various options. At the end, they designed and constructed the new patio cover, supported by the original beams and pillars. Their friendly team of professionals delivered what we wanted. We like to thank them for their timely communication and sticking to promise.

It has been almost half year since Robert and his GDM team built our new sunroom, and we enjoy it every day! Thank you Robert! Last summer I was thinking of a new sunroom then one day I was driving behind Four season’s van, and saw their phone number. So I wrote it down and called Robert. He is very kind and patient, with great professional knowledge of Sunroom. He took us touring his newly completed projects and gave us some ideas and recommendations. That really helped us make up our mind to have him build the sunroom for us. And this sunroom we now enjoy is the best home improvement we can ask for. I am really grateful I ran into Robert’s van and this sunroom is a great blessing to my family and friends. I have already recommended Robert to two friends who are thinking of building one after seeing ours. Of course I will recommend them to all my friends!

We wanted to convert our patio into a sunroom so we could use it all year around. As we were interviewing contractors, Mark/GDM stood out with his professional responses and providing clear information. We decided to choose Mark/GDM and he proved our decision to be absolutely right! Mark and Robert executed the project very well. They took care of all the steps in the process including permits, inspections, concrete work, Electrical’s and of course the build out of the sun room itself! They kept us informed regularly with weekly updates throughout the project. I was even able to travel overseas during the project without worrying about it. They delivered project ahead of original estimate and took care of issues observed during walk through. The sunroom has become the place of choice all year round for our family! I would definitely recommend Mark, Robert and GDM.

Our 20 year old sun room had seen better days with water intrusion, dry rot and mold. But we had designed it, ourselves, and loved sitting and working in it for hours on end. Mark provided a detailed plan, using the Four Seasons structure, that proved to be a replica of all we wanted in the original design of our sun room with updated materials that would make for a better structure. Bob and the GDM crew worked efficiently and did not disturb our daily living routine. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. Special care was given so that the adjoining room was not damaged in the course of the construction. Now we are again enjoying relaxing in our sun room.

Our sunroom is over 30 years old that is overdue to replace due to leakage during raining season. I was not sure which company did the installation initially. When I contacted Rob from GDM construction who asked me to send him pictures of the sunroom. Rob, with no hesitation & very knowledgeable of the sunroom style/glass type told me that was Four seasons sunrooms & windows. The initial consultation with Mark, design consultant was informative & professional. He patiently gave me the pros & cons to replace it with competitive quotes. Due to raining season & finding the time slot, the project did not start till almost 6 months later. But during this period, we were in contact weekly via email/text from Mark & Rob about the future plan. The GDM team was able to finish as they promised with Rob supervising on the daily basis. They removed all the old glasses & replaced it with custom made one. There were some other requests that needed it to be addressed, they were done the next day with no hesitation. Rob & the team focus on details which is something we value for big project like this. Our house has gained more value & beauty. We are enjoying our sunroom everyday by thanking Rob & his GDM team for the top quality job.
