They stuck to their estimate even when it came out of their pocket. They are a company that I would recommend to family and friends without a second thought. I would definitely use them again.

Travis is an exceptionally polite, knowledgeable handyman who works efficiently without wasting time or taking shortcuts. I had 2 ceiling fans with lighting kits assembled and installed, 2 wall lights mounted, a screen door re-hung on the tracks, ac filter changed, two small furniture assembles, floating shelving mounted, several photo frames and a mirror hung . . . In about 6 hours time, including lunch. Exactly as requested, surpassing all my expectations. I'll certainly use ACE again.

Michael was on time. Logical, efficient, professional, personable and knowledgeable about the areas we asked him to cover. He took exhaust fans down and completely cleaned the mechanism and covers. He swept off areas to be caulked, washed them, waited for them to dry then applied the caulk to clean surface. He moved a recumbent bicycle up one floor and moved a chair without damaging any surface. He efficiently applied foam to an egress window to minimize leaking. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The consultant had to clear the area to look at how to fix it and he did so without complaint. He was very cheerful and nice and friendly.

Mike and Travis work excellent workers. arrived on time evaluated the move And got right to work. Cleaned out my old office and move to the contents to the my garage All in 2 hours. Thank you to everyone involved in setting this up in making it happen.

I originally contacted Ace Handyman Services in May about getting a gate fixed. The wind has pushed the post a little off-plumb and the latch was getting pinched until the cable broke on it. While the first guy was here (Aaron?), I mentioned that I might also be interested in a second, larger project once the gate was fixed. I didn't receive an estimate for that visit until I was contacted about whether or not I wanted to have the labor performed. At that time, I was sent an estimate that included only the labor for both projects totaling $2400, with no estimate regarding the amount or cost of materials that would be involved. The customer service agent and I were unable to figure out how to separate the two projects, or even guess how much the materials would cost. At that point, I requested a SECOND estimate on just the gate latch. They were unable to send someone else out to look at it, so I took pictures and e-mailed them and they did an estimate of 2 hours of labor at $85 each for a total of $170. This estimate again did not include materials, but the plan was to reuse the hinges and latch if possible. If that were not possible, any materials' costs would be incurred at the time of service which would be anyone's guess. I went ahead and committed to get the latch fixed. I purchased a new latch to have on hand because I knew at least that part would need to be replaced. Ron came out this morning and, within the two hours predicted, was able to modify the hinges to create more room. Now, the gate opens and closes perfectly. So, while I wasn't thrilled with the process we went through to get there, the final result is great! All of the people that I spoke with were very courteous and polite and tried to be very helpful. Ron was very professional during his time at my house this morning to fix the latch.
