I was charged $150 to have nothing done except make work for myself moving everything out of the room and now moving it back in. Where to begin, first off…do yourself a favor. Anything more than say a small job that you could probably do yourself with a youtube video showing you step by step, get a legit service to come on out and view the job with their own eyeballs to tell you if they can do it. The individual who showed up was very nice so I lay no blame on him, but I spoke over the phone with their main office about having some floor squeaks I wanted fixed. Pull back carpet, find joists, screw it down and put carpet back. I was told that some parts of the carpet could tear and that but fixing the squeak another squeak maybe in time shows up elsewhere. I understood what was said and was told the 4 hour package should be what I need. We moved forward… Our guy arrived on time but we cleared the room to make it easy and was told he can pull the carpet or drill through carpet, but I wanted it done right, he mentioned they do not put the carpet back. On the phone when I agreed to go forward, I was told that it would go back and even knew the risks but a few times our guy said, “no we do not put the carpet back” and you need a carpet specialist. Then when the 1 job was a wash, I was informed I must pay $150 for the trip out which we were both very upset about. I asked him to just try and install a light fixture to make use of the hour though I was going to do it myself later. Through no fault of his own, when the box opened it was missing a critical mounting component. So, no light mounted. In short, unless it is an ULTRA small job, get people who specialize in your needs. People need to come out and inspect the job so the handyman knows what the job is exactly rather than an office saying they can do anything no problem and then not deliver. I was told they can reschedule and do everything then I can call a carpet specialist to put the old carpet back down as it was to simply be rolled back some, at that point I’d rather 1 person do it all and Ace is NOT it. The house has lots of small projects but honestly, I don’t see myself ever using them again. I honestly feel like I was robbed.

Our old mailbox was compromised. Ed came on-time, removed the old mailbox and post (which required digging out and breaking up the concrete blob that held the metal anchoring post, a big job!), pouring new concrete around a treated 4x4 anchor post, setting the new mailbox post, and attaching the new mailbox at the correct height. He finished in good time and did a clean job. It was well-worth contracting with Ace Handyman to have this done because the work was well-beyond my experience and skill set. We’re really happy with the finished product and so grateful that it was done so quickly!

Very pleased with Greg who came to my home to assess project (installing accessible ramp in my garage). While my home is already accessible at the front, I wanted to have Ace evaluate and bid on installing a ramp for access to my home through the garage. Greg arrived on time. Punctuality is important and not found in handymen these days. Greg had a clear idea of the job I wanted to have completed. He gave me some ideas of the different types of ramps I could have installed, the pros and cons of having the ramp located in various locations. Greg made recommendations after he took measurements. I have not had the project initiated yet but I will definitely use Ace and Greg to complete the work. Highly recommend.

Ed did a great job and not only repaired the broken mount, but also make sure the mount on the other side was solid. He was prompt, efficient, and communicated well with me every step of the way. He also carefully installed our front door chain, providing better hardware than what the manufacturer provided.

Herman did a wonderful job replacing the threshold in our basement. He knows what he is doing and it is shown in his work. I have a bunch of other projects I need completed around the house and we will personally ask for Herman.

Hernan was prompt, efficient and friendly. He went the extra mile to help us with tasks in our home. We would use his services again without question.

Will did a great job on all the tasks we listed ahead of time and then jumped into fixing a few more things on the same visit. We are working on our next list to have Will work on and are very glad to have found Ace Handyman Services! It would have been very hard to book all these small jobs with a specialist or contractor and we really needed them done to maintain our home.

I am so pleased with Jibri Johnson. He completed the work I scheduled and additional work in the 2 hour timeslot. Jibri is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He did a great job with all my repairs and installed a new kitchen faucet. I am happy to recommend him as an Ace handyman.

I am extremely pleased with Ace Handy Man services. Hernon Miquel is a hard worker. He was very pleasant and did great work. He has excellant comunication skills. I would use again.
