I try to do most of repair work myself. I am not a professional in any field of repair. I have purchased and installed a blower motor in a furnace (in 2018) and a fan motor for an A/C unit (in 2019). Both purchased from S.O.S. The A/C replacement motor was wired differently than the almost 20 yo original. I was helped at the counter with explanations and instructions to 'convert' the new wires so I wouldn't crosswire the new motor. The replacement motor was pre-wired for clockwise rotation and the Sales Rep switched it at the counter so it would properly rotate counter-clockwise. THANK YOU! see less
