I had bought a screen door to replace my older door that had been here since the 70's. I tried the previous weekend to get it into shape and to work but I couldn't do the work and get the door to line up properly. Thankfully after making the easy appointment with ACE. I had Bryan come out and install the door easily for me in the front here. I need to repaint my door frame a bit [expected since I took off the remaining door] but he let me know of some other ideas I can do to help make the door frame look a little bit more polished in the meantime. Bryan also helped me with estimating some work for a pocket door that I have that needs some work when I save up some money. I'll be contacting ACE to request Bryan back for sure when I am ready for that pocket door issue. I am really happy I called and has this done as it was WAY cheaper than Lowes by 300 dollars. Thanks guys!

I hired Sid and Steve to install steel security doors. They showed up promptly at the appointment time, and I was even notified when they were on their way. They were extremely friendly and personable, and just felt like a neighbor who was extremely skilled and helping me out. My purchase of the doors was incorrect and they didn’t fit. Sid measured and tried every which way to conceivably install them but unfortunately was not able to do the job. They spent an hour assessing the situation and yet only charged me the $75 base fee and no hourly charge. I was so impressed and I said I was going to schedule some other work that needed to be done and they even assessed that job to let me know what would be needed And I am going to have them back to complete the threshold and other issues with my door. I would use them in a heartbeat rather than a neighborhood referral of someone who has no professional background. They stand behind their work for up to a year and that’s another reassuring factor why I would choose ACE HANDYMAN over anyone else.

The best part of the experience was how easy it was to schedule. I hated to ask for help changing light bulbs, but the person who took my call made me feel like my request was extremely important. After trying to scramble around for a handyman, never sure when/if they would show up, it was wonderful to deal with professionals. My appointment was for 11:00 - not somewhere between 11 and 2. Steve arrived at exactly 11:00. I received a note from Steve the night before the appointment and I was notified the day of the appointment that Steve was on his way. Steve was very kind, asked me lots of questions about my preferences, worked quickly but didn't rush through anything. My corner cupboard was out of alignment. Steve spent a long time making sure everything was right, even though he could have gotten by with a quick "better than it was" fix l received the last two times I have had it looked at. I will use Ace Handyman again when I need help. The peace of mind that comes with dealing with friendly, conscientious professionals is worth the money.
