Showed up on time
Called Ace Handyman Services because a shelving unit fell in my closet and needed to be reattached and secured better. They quickly called me and had someone out the next afternoon. Mike showed up on time and he was a pleasant and kind person who got the job done in one hour. He made sure it was attached securely.

Ace Handyman Services is really Great
Pleasant, punctual, experienced, did a beautiful job restoring a section of my kitchen ceramic tile and grout! I highly recommend them. And their hourly rate is not excessive!

Service Charge for a Quote?
I called Ace Handyman services to get a simple quote to have some window screens replaced and repaired. Just the quote. I had not agreed to the service being done before knowing the cost. The scheduler informed me on their billing practice, however it was not made clear that these fees applied to quoting a job, it was in reference to how a job is billed. Their service person comes by to measure the windows (spent about 25 to 30mins) and charges me $195. No screens were replaced, no work was done on my home and I am now out $195. I have never been charged for a handyman quote before. Ever. The Service member was friendly and polite, unfortunately their business practice of charging a labor & service fee for a quote leaves me with a terrible feeling about this company.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for any misunderstanding of our billing system. We listen to all of our calls for quality assurance purposes. During the call it was communicated by our office staff about our business model, service fee, and labor rate. We are a time plus materials business model. We charge a service fee to cover our cost of sending the craftsman to the property. We charge an hour minimum for the labor rate. You were billed for the service fee and the hour minimum because our craftsmen spent 30 minutes measuring 15 window screens at the property to ensure the correct screens were ordered. Very Prompt, Friendly, Tidy Experienced Tile Installer
My Ace Services tile repairman was very easy to work with, knew what he was doing and worked steadily the entire afternoon. When he finishes tomorrow, I have confidence my kitchen will look like new. What a pleasure to work with.
