I looked for a company on line and they finally called! I was so disappointed in OTHER companies. When the company called the girl was so sweet. She made the appointment and let me know that I could expect someone to call and make sure I remembered the appointment and they did. They sent a text and called. They called when they were helping another customer to see if it was ok they were running late. I told them I was home all day. No big deal. When the gentleman came in he was friendly and answered my questions. I will use this company all the time!!!

I asked for several things to be accomplished during my service. I needed two bathtubs recaulked, the kitchen counters caulked between the counter and the tile backsplash, the trim (of which I had all the materials) cut and placed around 3 kitchen cupboards and about 1 foot or less of baseboard (which I also had) cut to replace baseboard that had been removed during installation of new kitchen cabinets, at 4 corners. Mike arrived and I showed him all the projects I needed completed and he said fine. He never stated that he could not do the work or that the work was outside his skill set. Mike proceeded to spend 3 hours recaulking the two bathtubs and caulking the kitchen counters. He was on the phone for at least 15 minutes of this time speaking to others about other customers projects. I heard him state to someone on the phone that he would be done at 3:30 or 4 pm. He had arrived at my house at 12:35. At 3:20 Mike finally finished with the caulking and proceeded to bring in tools and materials for the other two jobs. After about 5 minutes he told me that he would not be able to do the trim project because of the low clearance between the cupboards and the ceiling and that his nail gun would not fit. He at no point looked at the hardware I had to attach the trim. The cupboards and trim are actually IKEA products and the trim is not put on with a nail gun but its attached with brackets and screws. The clearance is tight however, so, I accepted this inability to do this project. So, I said, okay. Please just do the baseboards. After about a minute, Mike said that he could not do the baseboard project either because he did not realize that the corners were rounded and that I did not have any bullnose trim. At this point, I was ready to cry and I just said fine because I wanted him out of my house. I paid him $440 for three caulking jobs. He took 1/2 hour off because he "felt bad" and said that the ladies who made the appointments over the phone were not repair people and sometimes the jobs were different than described. I can understand this, but, if this was the case, why did Mike wait 3 hours to tell me he could not do 2 of the projects I had shown him? Also, taking off 1/2 hour was the least he could do since he had spent the 1/2 hour getting ready to do the two jobs he told me he could not do. After he left, I looked at the corners were I needed the baseboard installed and only one piece that was missing was a rounded bull nose piece. All the others weren't. Today, my 77 year old stepfather came over and helped me cut and install the 5 pieces of baseboard I needed to replace. Mike did do a nice caulking job. I will not be recommending your handyman service to any of my friends and will not use you again.

Adrian has done a great job with fixing my front doors. He has got them right how they should be. The doors when we moved in were not right, now now they are perfect. Thanks for the work you did. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a Handyman.

Adrian and Mike arrived right on time and ready to go to work. We had three small jobs that they accomplished in good time, and the work was done professionally and completely. They cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant throughout the experience in our home. The price was quite reasonable, and we would not hesitate to use Ace Handyman again.
