Scott did a great job in installing an 18,000 BTU window air conditioner less time than I expected at a very reasonable cost. I am very pleased and look forward to having Scott do other work at our home. Bob got right back to me the day I called and set up the appointment for Scott to come out within a few days of my call.

Handyman Matters installed a ladder and an attic hatch in our house. Because it is an old house, this was not a straightforward job. Bob worked with us to find the appropriate product to install (a new product on the market which required to be creative to install). Mike came to perform the job in a very timely manner. He was very friendly and very professional and the job seemed fine. Several months later, the whole hatch collapsed to the floor despite the fact that we barely used it. I called Bob who immediatetly arranged to get Mike back to fix the problem (it was with the ladder actually which pushed down on the hatch and broke it). Mike worked with me to find a solution to our specific space and corrected the problem in one day. We are very happy with our overall experience with Handymatters despite the accident.

Bob was great from the get-go. He arrived on time, gave me time to explain my project needs and rationale, and then we discussed the project of converting my three season porch into a home office. He sent me a written quote within one week and then we spent time negotiating the scope of work and cost. We then agreed to a rough start date and as the time got nearer, agreed on the actual start date. His carpenter was excellent - it took him less time than projected, he cleaned up every day, and he was efficient, quiet, and skilled. I absolutely love my new home office and I will hire them again for my next home project.
