Mickey was a very skilled craftsman who did great work for us in many areas.

I was very impressed when they installed my elderly neighbor’s garbage disposal. The installer was friendly, kind and honest and showed knowledge and skill in the job he did. Two thumbs up!

I was scheduled for a caulking job at 11:30 AM on 8/2/23, for which I took off work specifically to be here for Steve, the Handyman that was supposedly coming to do the job. The front office had calculated $850.00 and 6 hours for the job, (a lot of caulking had to be done). I waited until noon with no sign of Steve and no call from the Ace Handyman front office to inform me of what was going on. So I called them, only to get their profuse apologies for the lack of communication and was told he would now be here between 12:30 and 1:00. At 1:05, again, no sign of Steve and no call to update me or tell me what was going on. So again, I call and am apologized to even more profusely by Lori and told that they would work out a plan to get the job done today, even though the time was growing very short. They also called Steve and he told them he was on his way and would be here in 20-30 minutes. Again, I'm sitting here another fifteen minutes past the time he said he would be here, and no sign of Steve!! By now this is getting really old and I am quit perturbed at being treated with this total lack of respect for my time and the fact that I now have to call a third time to find out what the heck is happening with this situation. So again I call, and this time Lori appears to be totally surprised at the fact that Steve is still not here. And again, no one has bothered to call to update me on why this is happening. They try to placate me with the typical "We are so sorry and you have every right to be angry and disappointed with the way this has been handled", but at this point I've had it with this company. So I tell them to forget it and cancel the whole thing. I also informed them that I would be writing this review in the hopes of keeping others from having to go through this with Ace Handyman Services. I am normally very reluctant to write a negative review about a local business, because I know the damage it can cause them, but I gave these people ample opportunity to make things right and they failed spectacularly. One last thing; as I am completing my last call with the front office telling them to cancel the job, good old Steve pulls up. When I tell him how upset I was regarding how this was handled and how I lost a day's pay and inconvenienced my employer because of it, he couldn't even muster an apology!! All he had to say to me was "I was on another job" and "That's fine"!!! If I were the owner of this company I would be REALLY upset with how this all went down. All I can tell all of you is BUYER BEWARE.

Jessie arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with our toilet. He had to run into town for a new part but still finished the job in an hour total.He was a pleasure to work with.

Tom and his assistant were very professional and knowledgeable. They checked out my bathroom Skylight window because I thought the rubber seals were needing to be replaced but turns out they were okay . I would recommend this company in the future.

I had a lot of small jobs I needed help with that were hanging over my head. John took care of the whole list! He did a great job and had a lot of good advice.

I work at a property management company, we don't normally have a lot of maintenance work at the commercial properties, until recently. I had a list of items, the technician worked with me answering all of my questions. He was extremely knowledgeable, understanding and handled the list in the allotted time. He cleaned up after himself, and was very respectful to the businesses onsite. The office manager was extremely customer oriented. She handled all of my questions, helped me with scheduling and then kept in contact. I would highly recommend this business and will be calling many times in the future.

Appreciate the professional, quality installation of grab bars along a tub/shower. My mother recently suffered a stroke and it was vital for us to get the grab bars installed in a timely and secure manner. The installation of the grab bars has provided the safety and security my mother was looking to obtain to help her realize her goal of independent living. The installation was done with great care as the drilling into the tiles to secure the screws/anchors required patience and care so as not to crack any of the tiles. Would like to share a photo of the completed project, but does not look like I can post photos here. I also appreciate all the communication, involvement and follow-up throughout the process from dispatch to ownership.

James was a pleasure to work with. He repaired an old rotten picture window that was leaking. He was detailed in his work, showed up on time, and fixed the problem in a professional manner. I am very happy with Ace Handyman Services. I will be using them in the future.

I bought a house with a half-finished basement floor that needed flooring and trim. I got the flooring done and called Ace to install baseboards (250 linear feet) and window and door trim (3 each). I was happy that they were able to do it the next week. I bought all the lumber and caulk. James came right on time to start work, was super friendly, and worked very steadily to get the whole job done, which I wasn't sure would be possible.
