Kat chose good quality materials. She installed the railing on my garage stairs taking into account my disability. Fantastic workmanship! She also put up towel hooks and fixed another railing. Kat is very professional and friendly. Great service!

Storm door was hung and assembled okay, except the latch for the pull-down window/screen panel was missing - found it a little later in the debris left in the box to be discarded. Got a couple of machine screws and installed it myself. Demery was nice, polite, no complaints, except a little inexperienced with storm doors.

The tech did a great job winterizing the window-mounted swamp cooler that no other company seemed to want to do. He showed me the filter and what size it is, the model number, answered various questions I had about it, and gave me some maintenance tips. I did hear the office he was on the phone with try to charge me $100 more than what he thought the work was worth, and I heard "Are you sure you only want to charge that much? *Insert corporate speak here*..." Luckily he was in my corner and said "Yes I'm sure....I'm the one who did the work, I know what to charge." Good for him - had I been charged almost $300 to winterize a small-ish swamp cooler, I would've never called this company back.

Demery was a very pleasant and polite young man. However the weather stripping was not replaced on our door. We have two stripped screws in the bottom of the door frame and $200 later we must now call another repair company.

Demery did a great job on our fence project. However it wasn't clear that Handy charges a 25% bump in the material costs when they already charge you $65.00 just to show up. Was quoted for two flower beds with fencing around them to prevent deer from destroying ....$400 - $500. When it was all done I wrote a check for $915.00 (!) Twice what was quoted. Didn't mention the labor charges the 25% increase in materials, etc. etc. So better DISCLOSURE up front would of been GREATLY appreciated.

We had a water leak in our ceiling. Instead of replacing the the sheet rock where all the cracks were they just mudded over it. I asked for pictures to give to our insurance company and I got a piece of sheet rock with a signature there was no mold that I can’t use. We also added a vent over our stove and it was crooked and had to be fixed.
