I'm new to the area and so I don't have my list of trusted go to fixers. The stonework on our home was damaged in a recent windstorm and I came up empty on trying to find someone to do the work using one of the national websites so I figured I would give Handyman Matters a try. After submitting my request online, I was contacted well within an hour and was able to schedule the repair for the following day. Brandon contacted me that evening to clarify the job scope and to finalize the time he would be arriving. He showed up a few minutes early and did a great job of repairing the damaged mortar and stone. I will definitely use this service again and will not hesitate to make referrals.

I called to cancel this appointment a few weeks before hand, but the handyman showed up anyway. I wish the dispatch would have done their job so that the handyman didn't have to travel so far for nothing.

Absolutely perfect service

I've been using Handyman Matters for close to 6 months for the odd jobs my wife and I have around the house. Alana, Kim, and Dana in the office are responsive, friendly, and genuinely care about providing a thoughtful customer service experience. Kipp has been our guy for in-home projects and is always on-time, polite, and enthusiastic about our projects, no matter how big or small they may be. It is good to see that there are still people out there who take pride in their work. I will absolutely recommend Handyman Matters to anyone.

Hired for gutter cleaning and deck rebuild. Took photos of all gutters from roof and only cleaned/charged the necessary portion. Rebuilt our deck in record time. Polite, efficient and in time. Highly recommend.

A handyman from elsewhere told me that a light fixture had no"juice" and would need to be capped off. Derek (from Handyman Matters) came out, looked it over and determined that the wires had been disconnected/broken off and the fixture was actually fine. He rewired the outlet, installed my new fixture and got it all working again. Finally had light again in the dark hallway again! Derek was very knowledgeable, professional and did a great job of explaining everything to me. He did the job quickly and cleaned up after himself. Very pleased with him and the service. I also want to mention how helpful Alanna was with getting this scheduled. She worked very hard to set this up and find a day and time that worked for me.

Ricky has done several projects in our home and we have been very pleased with his work.

Dan came out today and was very professional and did know what he was doing. I would not recommend Kip to anyone. He was very personable when he was here, but always in a hurry to get done. After seeing the work that he did, I think he did not do a good job. the outside looks very messy in the area where door and house meet the deck. not at all like a professional job. the door is not level but we felt we would let that go because it does work ok. We have thought about getting an estimate from you for some other work, but is a big decision.

Rudy was on-time, understood what was going on with my sink and quickly fixed the problem. In and out in 30 minutes!
