This is a review of the fourth job Handyman Matters has done for me. The workmanship on and cost of the three previous jobs was great. The previous jobs included one large complex job and two smaller less complicated jobs. This was another small job: installing four ceiling lights in my garage. The garage came with two dim recessed lights in the ceiling; barely enough to see much less work in the garage. I purchased four four foot LED workshop lights from Costco. Greg showed up on time. He and I reviewed the project and made some decisions about where and which way to install the lights, using the existing switched circuit, etc. The result was perfect. The lights are spaced and oriented to provide excellent and very bright illumination. The wiring is invisible as Greg used the crawlspace above the garage to route the wires. We retained the two original lights which come on instantly (the shop lights take a second or so to light). Couldn't be happier with the result. Will use HM again!

This is my 2nd time using Handyman Matters and will continue to use them. Kelly performed a quality job and offered to come early due to a cancellation which worked great for me. The workspace was cleaned up perfectly. The estimate for time and cost were accurate.

Dave Jones is excellent: he shows up ten minutes early for assignments, figursbout how to save you money on calls, listens well, and delivers on the job in an expeditious manner. The price for his work seems a bit steep - 8.5 work for about $900 or $100/hr - but that covers his costs, labor, some materials, and transportation and the results are excellent done with aplomb and a smile. My wife was happy and I did not have to get stressed painting a bathroom ceiling, fixing lighting and fan fixtures, or hanging expensive Silouette blinds. So alls we’ll that ends well. We would call on Dave again if we had a similar batch of knotty projects that I didn’t want or couldn’t do.

I found that David did a good job but ran out of time to finish. Craig on the phone gave me incorrect information about cost of the job. I ended up paying more than I wanted to.

This is my second time using Handyman Matters and I am a truly impressed. Greg arrived right on time and went right to work on several repair projects. He did an excellent job on everything!

I’ve used these guys for several different issues. From fixing broken floor tiles to installing a garbage disposal. Every time they send someone experienced, they’re on time, fix my issue, and leave my place all cleaned up. And very reasonably priced. Great company.

Darrell was awesom! He responded quickly, was extremely knowledgeable, and repaired the issues with my dishwasher installation thoroughly.
