Power out to living room
Couldn't have been happier with Mark, the technician they sent out. He was able to trouble shoot the problem quickly, which turned out to be a complicated issue. He was also very thorough in explaining how he was going to fix the situation. Would recommend Mr. Electric to anyone having power issues.

Professional and friendly
Called to inquire about tech coming to give quote on two items that came up on house inspection. They were very friendly and helpful and were able to get to us next day. The Technician called when on his way and was very thorough when inspecting and giving us quote. Thought all staff was friendly & helpful.

Very good service

Great at figuring out a "puzzle"
We presented Toby with a situation which required him to problem solve a solution that was not quite so obvious. He was very patient, didn't rush the job and came up with an answer to our electric problem.

Stair steo project
The service technician was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We went over my project in detail and then he outlined a plan for what he could do the same day. He agreed to provide me with a quote for the additional work that I needed and then he proceeded to finish my current job. He took down some defective entryway lights and then installed new ones. I was satisfied with the work. The pricing was a high but I was still okay with paying it.

Prompt, expert service, but a bit pricey
I was extremely pleased with the quality and quickness of the work executed by Mr. Electric. The quote was explained well, but the price was more than I anticipated, and I'm unsure if it was the best price I could receive. The electrician was friendly and professional, and clearly knew his trade. He removed an old ceiling fan and installed a new one. He worked efficiently, and I'm thrilled with the end results. In the future, I expect I will get quotes from other electricians before having the work performed. But based on the quality of the work and the responsiveness of the service, if the price is comparable, I would use them again.

Response Time & Cost High!
The response time and arrival to my home was exceptional, not to mention the proposal of if not satisfied with the quote... no service charge (Ha, Ha)! The final cost for a GFC unit $153.00 and the service call of $198.00 was a bit excessive or too much on the high end spectrum for a 30 minute job. I was definitely in the wrong profession as a medical school faculty member in the ophthalmology department.

I understand you feel the charges are excessive, we do use standard menu pricing. We do not charge a trip nor a service call charge for showing up. If diagnostic and troubleshooting is needed then their is a charge for that but our customers are asked to authorize any charges and work prior to starting the work. Our customers always have the opportunity to decline services at no additional charges. We pride ourself in our upfront pricing model. We also offer all our customers a free Home Safety Inspection, if you was not offered the free Home Safety inspection please call and we will get a technician back out to finish the job. Mr. Electric is our company of choice now
When you call the Mr. Electric franchise located in Paola, you get to talk to a human, not a computer or an answering machine. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The electrician arrived at the designated time and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. We were so impressed with this company and their staff that we paid for a year's coverage plan and are about to have them come out to do a bigger job for us.
