Had a bunch of things done from installing a hand rail to hanging a light and many other things-Andre was wonderful- he’s very experienced and a nice person.handyman matters is great about sending various texts the entire process, making sure you know when your craftsman left and when he’ll arrive. I’m very satisfied with the service. José, the technician did a fantastic job installing a Nest smoke and carbon monoxide detector and some minor installations at my home. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They have a convenient tracking system to alert you when the technician is on his/her way. They also confirmed the appointment in advance. They customer service team is also great! Handyman Matters is a reliable business and I plan to continue handling my home repair/renovation projects with them.

Jose went above and beyond dealing with all of the issues in the house, including replacing batteries for the mechanical blinds in a high and difficult place to reach, repairing dry wall defects and removing a section of drywall near an electrical box in the basement because of apparent water damage and mold, then using a fresh piece to replace the damaged section. Throughout he was professional, hardworking and personable. We will not hesitate to use Handyman Matters in the future as the need arises.

I had two technicians come today to mount a new TV on my wall. They were excellent! They showed up on time, had everything they needed on hand and cleaned up the area when they were done. Excellent experience!

I've used Handyman Matters multiple times and continue to be impressed with both the ease of scheduling and the quality of work. Jose arrived on time, walked through the jobs I needed done, and confirmed costs and estimates before beginning. He quickly replaced an expired hard-wired smoke detector and two wall-mounted bathroom light fixtures, taking special care to ensure the fixtures were level. I'd also hoped to have two bathroom exhaust fans replaced. After opening up one of the bathroom ceilings, we discovered that the connections were hard-wired and would therefore require significant effort to extend and relocate, in addition to affecting existing crown molding. After showing me the situation in the ceiling and explaining what would be required to do what I'd asked, Jose walked through other options to reduce fan noise. We then went to Home Depot to purchase what was needed. Although the fall-back solution couldn't reduce the sound as much as I'd originally hoped, Jose helped me make the best decision possible without overinvesting in work that was a 'nice to have' as opposed to a 'have to have' which I greatly appreciate. We swapped out the motor assembly for a quieter one, and given the modular nature of the motor, when future upgrades are released, they can be easily retrofitted into these existing fans. I'd definitely use Jose again, should the need arise.

I'm an out-of-state landlord, never easy to work with a handyman over the phone. Everything from the scheduling (Martha) to work completion (Jose) was smooth. Easy to schedule, and easy to connect with. Had them come out to fix a shower cartridge, and then had them fix a sliding door and install a fan while there - Jose was very knowledgeable about all these areas. Will be using these guys for all my handyman needs going forward.

Andre was skilled, efficient, and proficient. I had him out to put in a new light fixture and a wall switch in my laundry room. He got it all going in short order, and even came up with a nice little expedient to make that wall switch easier (read: faster to install) without punching new holes in the wall.

This is the third or fourth time we have used Andre at Handyman Matters. He has become our "go-to" person for jobs requiring his expertise. He is very professional, his work product is excellent, and his follow-through and clean-up great! We recommend this company unreservedly!
