We compared another handyman service and a paint and repair company but had our work done by Ace Handyman Services of Hanover and Henrico. The job was to remove old baseboard electric heaters that had been disconnected some years ago and repair the wall and baseboard trim to make them like the rest of base trim in 5 rooms. Boyd was professional, efficient and thorough. The estimate of time was a little low because it was based on photos and he said so when he saw the extent of work needing to be done. We had already budgeted for more realizing that could be an issue based on other estimates. All in all, we got the work done quickly and within our budget with only an hour or two more than the estimate. The job looks great and we are pleased with the results.

We converted a half bath next to the kitchen into a beverage center. The job involved removing a door on one wall and creating an opening into the kitchen. Gregg was our handyman. He was polite, professional, and on time all six days of our project. As we encountered difficulties, Gregg offered great solutions for us to consider that kept us in code compliance. He was upfront with his capabilities and strong suit. Gregg’s work ethic was superb and his interaction with us was always delightful. Can you tell how pleased we are with the choice to use Ace? Our ugly front steps and aged railings could no longer be ignored. They were in need of replacement for years and enough was enough.I have known Dylan for a bunch of years and when I saw he was working with Ace Handyman Services I gave them a call and requested Dylan to do the work. The appointment process by phone was easy and the person I spoke with was friendly and professional. Dylan showed up promptly and we had a discussion about work of replacing our wooden front steps and PVC railings. He chose the wood for the steps and we chose the railings. The work took just under 2 days and turned out great. We're proud of our front steps and improved curb appeal.

This was my first time using Ace Handyman Services Hanover Henrico. I received a call back very promptly and a quick and timely appointment was set. The handyman (Dylan) who arrived was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. My only issue was on the invoice, that was provided to me at the end of the job, showing a $70 service charge. I was not made aware of this charge when I spoke with customer service in going over the quoting process. This needs to be made clear when quoting a job, up-front. I would use Ace Handyman Services again and let others know of them also.

Dylan was very friendly and polite. Answered all questions before replacing door seal to prevent rain water from seeping through. We plan to use him again for other repairs .
